Toen ik hoorde, dat de plannen voor een 50-jarige verjaardagseditie van het legendarische Woodstockfestival te hoog gegrepen waren en de boel werd afgeblazen kwam spontaan het idee op om zelf een viering te doen, in de vorm van een programma met alleen maar live opgenomen muziek van hedendaagse (of alleszins nog bestaande) bands. Natuurlijk heb ik mij weer eens geen meester getoond in de beperking en heb ik ineens twee lange (drie uur) uitzendingen voorzien. Vandaag de groepen met namen van A tot en met M, volgende week de rest. Aangezien dit programma niet echt gepresenteerd zal worden (om het 'live' gevoel niet te verstoren) komt u de playlist alleen te weten via deze site.

 When I heard that the plans to hold a Woodstock Festival 50th anniversary edition fell through, I spontaneously came up with the idea of doing a commemorative radio show, featuring live material from existing more or less contemporary bands. As it turned out, I failed to limit myself (again) and there will be two 3-hour shows, broadcast today and next Thursday. Today's show will feature bands with names ging from A to M. As I will mix all the tracks into one big psychedelic lump, the only place you'll find the playlist is the space underneath.
