Juni feestmaand voor The Magic Mushroom: deze maand is het 30 jaar geleden (15 juni 1989, om precies te zijn) dat we na gestart te zijn op Delta Radio en FM2000 via Radio Carina zijn overgestapt naar Radio Centraal (niemand anders wou ons hebben). In deze eerste uitzending herneem ik - helaas op mijn eentje, aangezien Marc Mushroom zich niet meer op deze golflengte bevindt - onze allereerste uitzending op deze zender. Het derde en laatste uur van de uitzending zal gevuld zijn met muziek uit 1989 (net als de twee volgende uitzendingen, overigens).

 June is a month of festivities for The Magic Mushroom; this month it will have been 30 years ago (June 15th, 1989, to be precise) that - after having started our cooperation on Delta Radio and FM2000 - we came to Radio Centraal via Radio Carina (no one else would have us). The first two hours of today's programme will be a recapitulation of our very first show on this channel, which sadly, I'll have to present solo, as Marc Mushroom is on another wavelength. The third and final hour of the programme will be filled with music from 1989 (as will the next two programmes, for that matter).
