Een nieuw jaar, een nieuwe reeks: het is de bedoeling dat elke laatste donderdag van de maand een extra lange (3 uur drie i.p.v. 2) aflevering van The Magic Mushroom wordt uitgezonden, waarin uw presentator het oudere gedeelte van zijn platen collectie afstoft, meestal onder het mom van één of ander thema. Voor deze eerste uitzending wordt dat space rock.

 A new year, a new series: from now on, every last Thursday of the month, The Magic Mushroom should be somewhat longer (3 hours instead of 2) and dedicated to the oldest and dustiest bits of the presenter's record collection, arranged around some spurious central theme. For this first edition, the theme is space rock.
